1. HORSE FANS! TWO REASONS WHY PICKING TWO-YEAR OLD
   WINNERS IS EASY.
   ====================
Two is the youngest age at which horses can race competitively in
Britain. And there are two very good reasons why you should take an
interest in these youngsters.

a) Two-year-olds mainly race against each other, making their form
easier to compare.

b) Most races are over short distances of five to seven furlongs.
Tactics play little part and in most instances it is simply the
fastest horse who wins.

Furthermore, 60% of all two-year-old races are won by a horse which
won or came second last time out. Here's how to turn this
information to your advantage.

* Find horses with a 1 or 2 at the right-hand end of the numbers
and letters on the race card directly before their names.

* Narrow your selection to just those horses which are also first
or second in the betting forecast.

* Finally, eliminate any horses which last ran more than 25-days
previously (the number of days since a horse last ran is shown by a
figure after its name). A young horse with a long break is rarely
at its peak, despite today's improved training methods.

The summer months from June to September are the peak time for
betting on 2-year-olds, they'll have some previous form and the
going should usually be good. From the end of September, however,
the weather can deteriorate so forget it from then until the
following year.

2. USING THE FIXED ODDS FOOTBALL COUPON?
THIS SIMPLE SYSTEM CAN TURN £21 INTO £1,344.
   ====================
Fixed odds football betting involves betting on the result of one
or more football matches at pre-set odds such as 2/1 (3.0). Here's
how to profit by betting on the correct scores.

This remarkable system covers seven matches for just one result,
but you need ONLY TWO matches to be correct to collect a profit.
More than two correct scores can produce stunning returns. Write
out your bet like this:

"Match 1: 1-0
"Match 2: 1-0
"Match 3: 1-0
"Match 4: 1-0
"Match 5: 1-0
"Match 6: 1-0
"Match 7: 1-0

"Any two correct scores from seven for a winning double = 21 bets."

With £1 unit stakes this bet costs £21. If any two of your matches
finish as 1-0 home wins at, for example, 7/1 your return on this
double will be £64. If three matches end this way, you'll have
three winning doubles on your coupon (1, 3, and 4 combine as 1 and
3, 1 and 4, and 3 and 4). This gives you £192 (£64 x 3). Four
correct scores gives you six winning doubles for £384. Five
produces ten doubles for £640, six generates 15 doubles for £960.
And all seven correct scores gives you the full house of 21 doubles
and a magnificent return of £1,344.
